Man accused of stabbing attack in Duenweg, Missouri, arrested in Queens, New York

KSNF/KODE – The man accused of stabbing a young man to death in Duenweg earlier this year is now in custody.

Yesterday, U.S. Marshals took 47-year-old David Bostic of Bellevue, Washington, into custody in Queens, New York.

Bostic was wanted in Jasper County on a charge of first-degree assault in connection with an incident at the Duenweg bus station on January 11.

When officers arrived on scene, they found an 18-year-old Broken Arrow man with a stab wound to the neck.

The teenager was released from the hospital about a week later.

In July, prosecutors charged Bostic with aggravated assault and armed criminal action and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Investigators say Bostic has ties to Missouri, Utah, Washington, Arkansas and New York.

There is no word on when he will be extradited to Missouri.
