19-year-old teenager arrested for murder conspiracy after student stabbed in chest

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after a schoolboy was stabbed to death. Officers were called to City Road in Walton at around 12.35am on Thursday, August 29.

It followed a report that a 15-year-old boy was found in a house with stab wounds to the chest and arm. Police believe a house party was taking place at the time of the stabbing.


The victim remains in a stable condition and is in hospital. In an update today, Friday, a Merseyside Police spokesperson said a 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in connection with the incident and is currently in custody.

Earlier this week, a 16-year-old boy was also arrested on charges of conspiracy to murder and released on bail pending further investigations. The morning after the attack, the front door of the crime scene was covered in blood.
