In an interview with Men's Health published Thursday, the “Hell's Kitchen” host admitted that he rode his bike into a “crater-like pothole.”

Ramsay's bike spun 180 degrees after the impact, throwing him from his two-wheeler. He found his helmet had completely cracked, leaving him injured and with blurred vision as he attempted to fix his bike's chain and continue his ride.

Recalling the terrible tragedy, he said, “I really thought I was going to faint.”

Celebrity chef Justin Mandel was able to send an ambulance to the scene of the accident on a Connecticut road after Ramsay called him. After he was taken to the hospital, CT scans were performed and reports showed he had suffered no bone injuries, although he did have a huge bruise that stretched from his waist to his ribs.

However, as part of his recovery, he was prescribed daily physiotherapy and lymphatic drainage treatments.

“I couldn't even put on my damn socks and pants. Justin always dressed me in the morning. I felt like a damn 95-year-old man. Asking a 30-year-old boy to put on my damn underwear was embarrassing,” the chef noted.

“I'm in pain and it's been a brutal week. But I'm getting through it,” he explained at the time.

In his post, the world-famous chef warned everyone to wear a helmet, showing off his huge bruise.

“These incredible trauma surgeons, doctors and nurses in the hospitals have taken care of me this week. They have been great, but honestly, you have to wear a helmet,” he stressed.
