Bold prediction for Penn State Bowling Green: Big day for the Lions' transfer cornerbacks

Bold prediction for Penn State Bowling Green: Big day for the Lions' transfer cornerbacks

Last week's bold prediction revolved around Penn State backup quarterback Beau Pribula.

I thought he would score late to secure the Nittany Lions' victory over West Virginia in Morgantown.

And Pribula was involved in PSU's final touchdown, but that was a 19-yard touchdown throw to tight end Tyler Warren with just a few minutes left.

Can't count it.

The goal is to get to .500 on bold predictions, and I'm not going to bet on a layup.

I'm thinking about defense this week when No. 8 Penn State hosts Bowling Green, a tough MAC opponent, on Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons should be one of the better teams in their league, but they lack the talent and depth to keep up with James Franklin's team.

West Virginia lost the ball three times in Morgantown last week.

Bowling Green will not be flawless against Tom Allen's defense.

Bold prediction for Penn State: The Lions will intercept at least two passes, and two of PSU's three transfer cornerbacks – AJ Harris, Jalen Kimber and Audavion Collins – will be responsible for some of them.

I would say that was pretty brave of me.
