Three dead in head-on collision between truck and double cab in Fort Ternan

Three people died in a road accident between a truck and a van in Fort Ternan on the Londiani-Muhoroni highway.

According to Selina Chirchir, County Traffic Enforcement Officer (CTEO), the truck loaded with liquefied petroleum gas collided head-on with a Nissan Double Cab. The driver and two other passengers died instantly.

Ms Chirchir said the driver of the trailer survived the accident and was taken to Fort Ternan Sub-County Hospital for treatment.

The bodies of the victims were taken to the morgue of St. Vincent Hospital in Muhoroni for identification and autopsy.

On Tuesday, September 3, another accident in the Kisumu Ndogo area along the same Londiani-Muhoroni road left 13 people dead.
