Man arrested after stabbing with another man in Wolcott: Police – NBC Connecticut

A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man in the head in Wolcott Thursday night.

Police said they were called to Saddle Road around 7:30 p.m. for a reported stabbing.

Authorities said the two men got into an argument via text message. The suspect then met with the other man and an altercation ensued.

The suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the other man in the back of the head, police said.

The suspect, a Southington man, fled the scene before police arrived. Police found him on Deer Run Lane and arrested him.

He is charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, trespassing, menacing and disturbing the peace, among other offenses. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
