Led by an interim coach, Togo began their season after a 1-0 away loss to the Democratic Republic of Congo in June, ending a nine-match unbeaten run.

LIBERIA PREVIEW: THE LONE STARS

Led by former Malawian coach Mario Marinica, the Liberian national team is currently ranked 142nd.and in the world according to FIFA. They have improved and go into this game with their own stable form.

In their last appearance of the summer, Liberia narrowly beat Sao Tome and Principe by one goal to nil, making them unbeaten in all four matches they have played in the calendar year 2024.

TOGO VS LIBERIA PREDICTION

Togo is a defensive team, or at least was under Paulo Duarte, so it's unlikely they will be more offensive and attacking now. However, they could field a relatively strong attack with Kevin Denkey and Ihlas Bebou. Liberia have been solid this year but remain weak overall. It's likely that there will be few goals in this encounter, but Togo remain the slight favorites to go three points clear.

TOGO VS LIBERIA TIP: TOGO WINS AND HAS LESS THAN 3.5 GOALS
