20-year-old man charged by police over stabbing in Walsall

Bradley Smith, aged 20, is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court charged with wounding with intent following an incident in Bloxwich Lane, Walsall, on Sunday 1 September.

Smith, of Bloxwich Lane, was also charged with threatening a person with a knife in a public place.

The charges relate to a stabbing that resulted in another man being hospitalized with back injuries.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Bradley Smith, aged 20, will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court today for an initial hearing.”
