Horror at London shooting: Gunman at large after man shot dead on street | UK | News

A murder investigation has been launched following a fatal shooting in Westminster.

At 11.06pm on Wednesday 4 September, police were called to reports of shots being fired on Bravington Road in West Kilburn.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found a man in his twenties suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite all efforts by the emergency services, his death was pronounced at the scene of the accident at 11:48 p.m.

His next of kin have been informed.

There is a crime scene cordon and road closures.

At this early stage of the investigation, no arrests have been made.

The investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley in the Homicide Division. He said: “The incident occurred on a residential street and so I am sure there are people who have captured footage on their doorbells or dashboard cameras that could be of vital importance to us.”

“I request that these people investigate this immediately and share with us any material they have immediately.

“If you saw or heard anything before or after the incident, you must speak to my team so that we have the best possible chance of finding the person responsible for this gruesome crime and bringing them to justice.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or message @MetCC quoting CAD 8732/4SEP.
