Agia Paraskevi: Pictures of the traffic accident in which a bicycle was hit by a car on Mesogeion Avenue

A serious traffic accident occurred yesterday evening on Messogion in the downstream at the height of Agia Paraskevi when a private car hit a cyclist and left him lying there.

The ERT images show what happened shortly after the collision with the injured person on the runway and the helpers who were called.

A police patrol car then arrived, followed shortly afterwards by an emergency service ambulance.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Messogeion and Agia Paraskevi streets. A short time later, the driver of the car, who had left the scene of the accident, was arrested. He claimed that he had not noticed the collision.
