Bus accident in Bengaluru

Last month, a major accident occurred in Bengaluru when a bus driver lost control of a Volvo bus and collided with several vehicles near the Hebbal flyover. At least two people were seriously injured in the incident on August 13. The accident, captured on the bus's CCTV footage, shows the driver initially maneuvering with one hand on the steering wheel. As he approached traffic, he tried to brake but instead collided with at least four cars and five two-wheelers. The bus finally came to a stop after hitting a car, which was dragged for several meters and landed horizontally in front of the bus. The video also shows the bus driver rushing to the driver's seat and asking why brakes were not applied. The bus's windshield shattered in the collision.
