Copart reports financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024

Copart, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPRT) today announced financial results for the quarter and year ended July 31, 2024.

For the three months ended July 31, 2024, Copart, Inc.'s revenue, gross profit and net income were $1.1 billion, $454 million and $323 million, respectively, representing an increase in revenue of $71.4 million, or 7.2%, a decrease in gross profit of $(4.0) million, or (0.9)%, and a decrease in Copart, Inc.'s net income of $(25.2) million, or (7.3)%, compared to the same period last year. Fully diluted earnings per share for the three months ended July 31, 2024 were $0.33, compared to $0.36 last year, a decrease of (8.3)%.

For the fiscal year ended July 31, 2024, Copart, Inc.'s revenue, gross profit and net income were $4.2 billion, $1.9 billion and $1.4 billion, respectively, representing an increase of $367.3 million, or 9.5%, an increase of $170.3 million, or 9.8%, and an increase of $125.3 million, or 10.1%, in Copart, Inc.'s net income from the same period last year. Fully diluted earnings per share for the fiscal year ended July 31, 2024 were $1.40, compared to $1.28 last year, an increase of 9.4%.
