Grandson kills 93-year-old grandfather over rent dispute; Delhi police launch murder investigation

New Delhi [India]September 4 (ANI): Delhi Police has filed an FIR following a tragic incident in Adarsh ​​Nagar where a grandson fatally attacked his 93-year-old grandfather following a dispute over a tenant.

According to authorities, both the victim and the accused were residents of the North West Delhi area. The first argument started on Monday when the grandfather spoke to the tenant, which angered the grandson. The grandson insisted that he should sort out all the issues with the tenant and not his grandfather. The argument escalated into violence and the grandson severely abused his grandfather.

The elderly man was hospitalized but died on Tuesday. Police have registered a murder case and are currently searching for the grandson, who is on the run.
