15-year-old boy stabbed to death in Surrey Quays – Southwark News

A fifteen-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Surrey Quays and taken to hospital.

Police and paramedics were called to Quebec Way yesterday at 9:16 p.m. (Tuesday, September 3) following reports of a stabbing.

He was admitted to a major trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made. Police investigations are ongoing.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 9.16pm on Tuesday 3 September to reports of a stabbing in Quebec Way, SE16.

“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London Rescue Helicopter attended the scene and found a 15-year-old boy with stab wounds.

“He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 9.18pm on Tuesday 3 September to a stabbing incident in Quebec Way, SE16.

“We have dispatched resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in an emergency vehicle, an incident commander and the London Rescue Helicopter.

“The first of our teams arrived within five minutes.

“Our teams treated a teenager at the scene before transporting him by road to a major trauma centre in London.”
