A friend's cancer diagnosis is a shock – including for Vera Int-Veen and Kim Fisher, who are supporting their TV colleague during this difficult time.

Potsdam – Vera Int-Veen (56) recently spoke about the cancer of her good friend and TV colleague Andrea Plewig (54) and burst into tears. Now, on Tuesday (September 3), there was an emotional reunion, which the former “Schwiegertochter gesucht” presenter (2007-2021) captured in her Instagram story.

In addition to Vera Int-Veen, her wife Christiane “Obi” Obermann (48) and Andrea Plewig, “Riverboat” host Kim Fisher (55) and her dachshund Fritzi also joined the group. For the Berlin native, the meeting with her friend, who is suffering from cancer, was particularly emotional, as it was the first time she had seen her without a wig.

“I cried for a moment,” says Kim Fisher in the Instagram story. Vera Int-Veen adds: “Kim said it so well: After five minutes it was clear that that was you!” It hasn't changed at all just because you don't have any hair anymore.” Andrea Plewig then admits that she initially thought she would have a much bigger problem walking around without hair, which she only does with family and friends anyway.

But Vera Int-Veen emphasizes: “Andrea looks really great.” Previously, the 56-year-old commented in another Instagram story on the wig of her good friend, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and noted: “It must be a bit thinned out.” The Astro-TV presenter agreed and joked that she would look “like Otto” (Waalkes, editor's note) or “that pop singer” if she didn't tuck her hair behind her ears. She was referring to Ballermann legend Mickie Krause (54).

The diagnosis has undoubtedly shaken Andrea Plewig and those around her, but the solidarity and support of her friends gives her strength and confidence. “I'm going to have a tough time now.” “But I'm not the only woman who has this,” she explained combatively a few weeks ago.

Another celebrity recently spoke in a talk show about the death of a loved one who lost the battle against cancer. Singer Jeanette Biedermann (44) had “just repressed and pushed away” the loss of her father for a long time. (sk) Sources used: Instagram/vera_intveen, Instagram/iam_andreaplewig
