Terrorist attack in Yobe: Perpetrators will not go unpunished – Tinubu promises

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stated that those responsible for the recent killings in Mafa, Tarmuwa Local Government Area of ​​Yobe State will never go unpunished.

DAILY POST recalls that suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked Mafa community on Sunday evening, killing about 80 people and many more are still missing.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President condemned the attacks, describing them as a cruel and cowardly act of terrorism by a pathetic group of criminals.

Tinubu also expressed his condolences to the Government and people of Yobe over the tragic loss of life, conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and a speedy recovery of the injured.

The President assured the people of Yobe State that justice would be done and said that perpetrators of this sinister act would inevitably be brought to justice.
