She is currently one of the most successful and well-known singers in Germany: Nina Chuba. In the eighth season of Joko Winterscheidt's “Who's stealing my show?”, the Berlin-based Hamburg native can be seen alongside comedian Kurt Krömer and podcaster Tommi Schmitt in ProSieben's linear program from September 8th. The episodes of the season are available in advance on Joyn+.

Although the now 25-year-old had her first successes at the age of seven in the ARD series “Die Pfefferkörner,” she only became really famous with her song “Wildberry Lillet.” The single was released in August 2022.

Right at the beginning of the first episode of the eighth season, Joko reveals something very special about Nina Chuba: She is the first celebrity “who actively applied,” the presenter explains the process of how she got on the show. And then he plays a Tiktok from Nina Chuba. She posted the stitch with a video of Joko on February 6, 2023.

Nina Chuba speaks directly into the camera in front of a brick wall: “Hi, I'm Nina Chuba, I wanted to officially apply here for 'Who's Stealing My Show?' as a guest. My favorite color is ochre. I like animals like rabbits or sharks and I find jellyfish interesting.

The deliberately awkward speech makes fellow candidate Kurt Krömer laugh so much that he dabs the sweat from his forehead with a cloth. And Nina Chuba also watches her video with amusement.

“That's another way to get yourself into the conversation,” Joko sums up. The singer had already been on the guest wish list before, the presenter admits. “But of course it was like that again: okay, awesome.”

However, it took a while until it finally worked out because she had such a “wild and absurd career”. And then he immediately asks why she wants to be on his show now that she is “completely indispensable in the German music scene” – when is enough enough? Nina Chuba's confident answer: “I don't know – if I won! I will do my best.”

Brad Pitt also presented his new film “Wolfs” at this year’s Venice International Film Festival, but it was not just about potential future box office hits: for the first time, the Hollywood star and his new partner Inés de Ramón officially appeared as a couple.
