Speaking to reporters, she claimed that she was locked in a room in Dubai for three days and subjected to brutal sexual abuse and mental torture. Nivin and his associates also allegedly threatened to endanger her family. She added that Nivin Pauly was under the influence of drugs during the alleged abuse.

On Tuesday, Nivin Pauly addressed the media and said he did not know the woman who had filed the complaint against him. He assured that he would do everything he could to fight this case and that he would not have to hide. “I will be here. I will not run away,” he said.

After his media interaction, the woman reiterated her allegations and vowed to stick to her complaint. According to the complaint, the incident took place in Dubai in November 2023. An acquaintance named Shreya had introduced the complainant, who works as a nurse in a Dubai hospital, to a producer named AK Sunil. Shreya allegedly introduced the acquaintance under the pretext of offering her a chance to act in a film.

During the interview, the producer allegedly sexually harassed her. Later, his colleagues – Nivin Pauly, Binu, Basheer and Kuttan – also allegedly abused her. She claimed that she was locked in a hotel room and given water laced with drugs.

A complaint was filed about the incident in June, but the response from local police was reportedly hostile. “After the Hema Committee report was released, I gained confidence to file a complaint again. I am ready to cooperate with the police in gathering evidence,” she said. She also claimed that the perpetrators had circulated a picture of her and her husband on social media and portrayed them as a “snooping couple” to defame them.

The producer, she claimed, had good relations in Kerala and had portrayed her and her husband negatively on social media. She also alleged that a hidden camera was installed in her house in Kerala and her husband's phone was hacked through WiFi. Moreover, the gang allegedly threatened her with attacks on her family by using Nivin Pauly's fans if she went ahead with the complaint.
