Georgia man convicted of fatally stabbing 19-year-old escort and dumping remains in woods – South Arkansas Sun

DULUTH, Ga. (TCN) — A man was convicted of Killing of a young mother whose decomposed remains were found in a wooded area in 2022.

According to prosecutors, on the night of June 16, 2022, Krueger requested an escort but was sent a different woman than the one he wanted. Llanos Gomez reportedly went to his house and they got into an argument over her payment. Krueger had allegedly been robbed by an escort in the past, so he was angry. Llanos Gomez grabbed a knife from the kitchen and tried to escape, prosecutors said, noting that she was much smaller than the defendant.

According to prosecutors, Krueger took the knife from Llanos Gomez and stabbed her in the back and multiple times throughout her body. He then reportedly slit her throat, cut off her clothes and wrapped her in a blanket. Krueger placed the victim's body in his vehicle and drove to a wooded area in Hall County, where he disposed of her remains, prosecutors said.

Investigators reportedly reviewed Llanos Gomez's cellphone activity and found a suspicious vehicle on a local Ring camera, pointing to Krueger as the prime suspect. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office announced his first arrest on August 5, 2022.

According to prosecutors, Kruger admitted killing Llanos Gomez but claimed it was self-defense.

District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson said: “This was a cruel, brutal death for this young woman. Ms. Llanos Gomez has two children who are motherless. The defendant was cold and calculating, and the jury's swift verdict will give Ms. Llanos Gomez and her family and loved ones the justice they deserve.”
