ALAMO, Tenn. (WMC/Gray News) – Amy Slaton Halterman of TLC's “1000-lb Sisters” was arrested in Tennessee on Labor Day after a camel bite reportedly led to a drug raid on the reality TV star's vehicle.

The Crockett County Sheriff's Department says officers were called to the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, Tennessee, on Monday after a visitor was bitten by one of the park's camels.

When officers arrived at the guest's vehicle, they “immediately noticed suspicious odors” coming from the car in which Halterman, Brian Scott Lovvorn and two children were sitting.

Amy Slaton Halterman and Brian Scott Lovvorn are charged with possession of Schedule I and VI drugs and two counts of child endangerment.

County authorities did not disclose who was bitten or the extent of the injuries.

Both Halterman and Lovvorn are charged with possession of Schedule I and VI drugs and two counts of endangering a child.

Both are being held in the Crockett County Jail.

No bail or hearing information is available at this time.
