Fatal traffic accident on Highway 101 in Woodland Hills impacting southbound and northbound traffic

A fatal crash on the 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills affects both the southbound and northbound lanes near Tampa Avenue.

At around 6 a.m. a pedestrian was hit and killed on the highway

Initially, all lanes were closed for about 15 minutes. Since 7:30 a.m., two lanes each have been closed in the north and south directions.

Alternate routes are available on Victory Boulevard, Ventura and Sherman Way.
