In fact, since her deal with Gerner, she is now co-owner of the Lehmann Bank. She has given up her old job as a secret agent.

Carlos, who notices John's insulting tone towards Zoe, jumps into the breach for her. Later, when the two go for a walk together, Zoe confesses to him that she used to work as a contract killer. Carlos, who was once a criminal himself, doesn't seem to have a big problem with that.

Carlos and Zoe – alliance of evil?

The two have a good relationship. However, Zoe initially keeps it a secret from Carlos how she became co-owner of the Lehmann Bank. Carlos rejects her attempt to kiss him, but he is not averse to working with Zoe professionally.
