Search for Camp Pendleton Marine, Lance Cpl. Bailey Cameron, last seen in Carlsbad Bar

CARLSBAD, Calif. (KABC) — A desperate search is currently underway for a missing 23-year-old Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton.

Lance Cpl. Bailey Cameron was first reported missing on August 25. His mother told KGTV he was at a bar in Carlsbad the night he disappeared.

Surveillance video shows Cameron, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans, leaving the bar alone after 1:30 a.m. His mother says some of his belongings were found just a block away the next day.

Police and military officials are involved in the search and NCIS has also been informed of his disappearance.

Family members are asking anyone with information to come forward and help bring Cameron home.
