Rape: Man sentenced to life imprisonment for raping his 7-year-old stepdaughter in 2017 | News from Pune

Chaudhary stated in his judgment on September 2 that the allegation of rape of his stepdaughter was serious and that not only the victim but also society expects justice in such cases. The accused had Sexual harassment on a minor. He should receive the maximum sentence because he was not capable of living in a civilized society.
The judge said the seriousness of the crime was demonstrated by the fact that the victim's mother had engaged the services of a lawyer and fought for justice for seven years.
Special Public Prosecutor GK Khode relied on the testimony of nine witnesses, including the survivor and her mother, and medical evidence to prove the accused's guilt beyond reasonable doubt.
In June this year, an alert kindergarten teacher exposed the suffering of a four-year-old girl at the hands of her stepfather, a casual labourer.
