Houston Police Release Video of Suspect in Tragic Shooting, No Description Yet

The family of 24-year-old Matthew Kallie is urging the public's help in identifying the people responsible for his tragic death. Kallie was shot and killed in the 11100 block of Safeguard St. in Houston at approximately 10 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024.

Houston police have released surveillance video showing two suspects and the vehicles they were using during the fatal encounter. The footage shows a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Traverse, and a black four-door sedan, possibly a Cadillac DTS. According to the investigation, Kallie was walking down Brisbane Street when the two vehicles approached him. A suspect got out of the front seat of the sedan and opened fire, leaving Kallie lying in the street with fatal injuries.

Kallie's family is deeply saddened by the loss and is asking anyone with information to come forward. They hope someone in the community holds the key to identifying the suspects and bringing them to justice.
