Imphal, Sept 2 (PTI) – A 23-year-old woman was injured on Monday when suspected militants launched a fresh bomb attack using a drone in Manipur's Imphal West district, police said.

This is the second drone attack in two days. Monday's attack site is about three kilometers from Koutruk, where two people were killed and nine others injured in bomb and gun attacks on Sunday.

She was taken to hospital with abdominal injuries and her condition is said to be stable.

The militants also fired indiscriminately from a hilltop at Sejam Chirang village, prompting retaliatory strikes by security forces. PTI COR NN
