Scooter rider dies in traffic accident in Palpa – myRepublica

PALPA, September 2: A scooter rider died in a road accident at Bardale of Rampur Municipality-10 in Palpa district today. The accident occurred when the scooter (Lu 44 Pa 2431), which was travelling from Rampur Bardale to Ramtar along Kaligandaki Corridor, met with an accident.

The scooter rider was identified as 40-year-old Yam Bahadur Magar of Rampur-10 of the district.

Spokesman and Deputy Commissioner of Police Sugandha Shrestha said Magar was taken to Rampur Hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him dead within a short time.

According to police, the accident occurred when the scooter crashed into a guardrail.
