Shooting outside Punjabi rapper AP Dhillon's house in Canada: Connection to Lawrence Bishnoi gang comes to light

Gunshots were reportedly fired outside Punjabi singer AP Dhillon's house on Victoria Island in Vancouver, Canada. The incident took place on September 1 and a man named Rohit Godara, who is reportedly a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the incident.

Gunshots were reportedly heard near Dhillon's house in the Victoria Island district. A video circulating online shows a man standing outside a house at night and firing several shots, but the location is not verified.

In an alleged post, Rohit Godara claims that the shots were fired at two locations in Canada – Victoria Island and Woodbridge Toronto. According to the post, he fired outside the singer's house after the singer featured Salman Khan in a music video, NDTV reported. In the alleged post, he also threatened to kill the singer. Godara claims he is in touch with Lawrence Bishnoi.

Recently, Salman Khan appeared alongside actor Sanjay Dutt in Dhillon’s new song “Old Money”.

Godara is a close associate of imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and has previously been accused of complicity in the murders of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala (2022) and Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi (2023).

In April, two motorcyclists opened fire outside Khan's residence at Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai's Bandra area and fled the scene. Mumbai Police declared jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi as “wanted accused” in connection with the incident.
