After a suspected stabbing, a city center was cordoned off.

Residents of St Albans in Hertfordshire reported seeing “police everywhere” following the incident, which was believed to be a knife attack in the city centre.

One person said: “Reports of a knife attack in St Albans town centre. Near the CEX store, police everywhere.”

Offices were reportedly closed and no one was allowed to enter or leave.
