Police hear screams from apartment and discover bloodbath

The police had to force their way into the apartment. A man had called the emergency services and reported injuries. On site, the emergency services encountered a dramatic scenario.

Munich – The police are talking about an attempted murder. A 63-year-old Munich resident called the emergency services from Ramersdorf on Sunday morning (September 1st). He reported that he was injured and needed help. The emergency services arrived at an apartment building in Ramersdorf at around 9 a.m. Although the apartment they had specified was not opened, the emergency services heard screams coming from the apartment and called the police emergency number 110.

The emergency services then forced their way into the apartment and found the injured 63-year-old and an 18-year-old who also lives in Munich. According to the historical investigations, a physical altercation ensued between the two men, during which the 18-year-old is said to have seriously injured the 63-year-old with a knife. The 18-year-old suspect was arrested without resistance.

Due to the severity of his injuries, the 63-year-old was immediately taken to hospital for further medical treatment. The Munich Police Department's 11th Precinct has taken over further investigations in this case and carried out the necessary forensic measures in the apartment where the crime was committed. The Munich Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a detention order for attempted murder. The 18-year-old suspect will be brought before the judge on Monday.
