Crash between two cars: 74-year-old woman was able to free herself from the vehicle

02.09.24 – There was a crash on Monday morning: At around 10:21 a.m., emergency services had to be dispatched to Lautertal (Vogelsberg) on ​​the L3139. The reason: a collision between two cars.

As our emergency reporter on the scene reported, a 74-year-old VW driver was driving on the road from Rebgeshain (Ulrichstein) towards Engelsrod (Lautertal). Meanwhile, a 71-year-old Opel driver came out of a side street from Helpershain (Ulrichstein) and wanted to turn towards Engelrod. She overlooked the VW and a collision occurred.

The 74-year-old VW driver was slightly injured in the impact and was trapped in the car. Luckily, she was able to save herself through the passenger door.
