Rhodes breaks the silence in the locker room about the allegation

Cody Rhodes defeats The Bloodline to win the WWE Universal Title: Highlights from Sunday at WrestleMania XL

During the press conference, Rhodes was asked about the upcoming Netflix docuseries and the elephant in the room, the sexual misconduct allegations against McMahon. Rhodes addressed these ongoing abuse allegations and gave a candid answer on both topics.
When asked about the Netflix series, he confirmed that WWE was not involved in its production. “I think that's a great question. As for whether I'm going to watch it – I don't want to sound cheeky in any way, I'm in the middle of rewatching Game of Thrones and that's a hell of a lot of work. I don't know. I think there's a little bit of misinformation there because as far as I know, WWE is not involved in this documentary. I would imagine I'll watch it,” he said on the subject.
The question then turned to McMahon, who faced a serious allegation when Janel Grant accused him of sexually harassing her. The question was specifically about why the WWE locker room remained silent on the matter. He offered a rather neutral perspective on the issue, refusing to give his direct opinion or hold anyone accountable. Rather, he steered the topic to how professional obligations may not allow them to have discussions on the subject. On the subject, he said:
“As far as the more serious stuff, as far as the calm or quiet in the locker room, whatever it may be, I don't think that's a question of belief or disbelief, I think strictly speaking, we want to do what we do out there. And the focus and attention that it takes, 13,149 people, to have a great story and have a great fight and do it every night, has led most of us to find out the information just like you do. And that includes unraveling that information in terms of what happened, how it happened and how justice is done, whatever it may be. I wouldn't consider it an active attempt by the locker room to stay silent. We're just doing what we do every day, WWE business……… “I don't know enough about the information to give you a good enough answer to that. I'm sorry.”
Rhodes' comments reflect a broader distancing from the controversyand instead focused on his commitment to his wrestling career and the ongoing demands of his role in WWE. His responses underscore the difficult balance between personal opinions and professional responsibilities in the face of such serious allegations.
