Israeli aggression in the West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp has intensified as Israeli occupation forces continue their deadly assault that has left two young Palestinians dead and a child shot dead. The brutal attack has been going on for several days, with more than 20 Palestinians already killed in the northern region.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 19-year-old Mohammad Amin Talal Abdullah and 23-year-old Amjad Mustafa Ibrahim Saleh were killed by Israeli soldiers in the Jenin refugee camp. The bodies of the two killed men have been confiscated and their whereabouts are unknown.

In addition to the fatalities, a child was shot in the head with live ammunition and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed. Israeli forces are reportedly conducting a major offensive in the northern West Bank, attacking cities such as Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas from both the ground and the air. The forces have arrested citizens, used them as human shields and destroyed key infrastructure, leaving the city of Jenin in ruins.

On Saturday evening, Israeli occupation soldiers injured an unknown number of Palestinians in a violent raid and armed settlers also attacked cars near the city of al-Khalil (Hebron) in the southern West Bank.

According to media sources, several military jeeps of the Israeli occupation forces entered the al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil and fired rubber bullets, gas bombs and stun grenades, causing numerous Palestinians to suffer from tear gas poisoning.

In the town of Halhoul, north of al-Khalil, a group of Israeli settlers from the illegal colony of Karmie Tzur attacked numerous cars and caused damage.

Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, Israeli occupation soldiers shot a Palestinian teenager in the back with live ammunition in the Askar refugee camp east of Nablus on Saturday evening.

The PRCS reported that its teams cared for a 17-year-old who had been shot in the back. Paramedics treated the injured man and then took him to a hospital in Nablus.
