Otto Addo and other members of the Black Stars technical team involved in an accident

The Black Stars technical team was involved in an accident on the Tarkwa-Takoradi road.

The technical members involved in the car accident included head coach Otto Addo, assistant coach John Paintsil and goalkeeping coach Fatawu Dadua.

The trio escaped the near-fatal accident on the Tarkwa-Takoradi road on their way back to Accra after watching the Champions of Champions match between Premier League winners Samartex FC and Nsoatreman FC on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

In a video seen by GhanaWeb, none of the technical team members were injured, but John Paintsil complained of pain in some parts of his body.

The technical team led by Otto Addo is expected to receive medical treatment before starting work ahead of Ghana's AFCON qualifiers against Angola.

The Black Stars will host Angola in Kumasi on September 5, 2024, before visiting Niger on September 9.
