Woman stabs and kills family member in West Bexar County, officials say

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, a person has died after being stabbed multiple times by a family member.

The stabbing occurred around 2:56 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Farnsworth Drive.

BCSO said a 20-year-old woman called authorities and told them she had stabbed a family member.

When officers arrived on the scene, The victim, in his late 50s, was found with numerous stab wounds.

The victim was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead, BCSO said.

In the sheriff's office's initial investigation, the woman was described as a caregiver for the family member. BCSO said she could face a murder charge.
