Kidnapped: Two-year-old girl abducted and sexually abused in Thane district | Thane News

Thane: Days after the incident at the school in Badlapur, another case of sexual assault has come to light. two-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped discovered by a daily wage labourer outside her house and sexually assaulted in Kalyan Taluka of Thane district.
According to police, after committing the crime, the accused handed over the girl to her mother when she was crying and writhing in pain and to save himself, he fabricated a story saying that two people were taking the girl away. When the victim's mother noticed something unusual, she lodged a complaint with the police. The Thane Rural Police arrested the 37-year-old accused on Saturday morning and produced him before a special court at Pocso in Kalyan later in the day. The judge sent him to seven days' custody. Police custody. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon when the girl was playing outside her house. Suddenly, the accused, who lives in the same area, kidnapped the girl and took her to a remote area where he sexually abused her.
