The bodies of three children and a man were found on a property belonging to the Emergency Services in Surrey.

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service called officers from Surrey Police to an address on Bremer Road in Staines at around 1.15pm on Saturday (August 31).

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the deaths.

A spokesman for Surrey Police said that at this point the police believe that this is an isolated incident and no one else is involved.

The devastating news has been communicated to next of kin, who are being cared for by specialist officers, according to Surrey Police.

The street was closed by the police.

Surrey Police cited the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to previous police contact with those involved.

Chief Inspector Lucy Sanders said in a statement: “This is a tragic loss of life in our community and we are working to establish exactly what happened.”

“There is currently a significant police presence on site and in the surrounding area.

“We would like to thank local residents for their patience and understanding during our investigation.”
