MK party mourns the loss of six members who died in a fire accident

The UMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party has sent its condolences to the families of its members who died in an accident on the R74 in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday morning.

A taxi carrying the members overturned and caught fire while they were trapped inside. Ten other people were injured and taken to hospital for medical treatment. The members were on their way to a celebration in Nkandla.

SIX MK PARTY MEMBERS KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT

Nhlamulo Ndhlela, spokesman for the MK party, said that while one can never fully fathom the pain caused by such grief, he sent his deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the relatives.

Ndhlela also assured that the families of the deceased members would be supported in these difficult times.

“As the uMkhonto weSizwe party, we pay tribute to their bravery and will take up the spear and continue the fight. May their revolutionary souls find solace and rest in peace as we wish our injured comrades a speedy recovery,” Ndhlela said.
