Deepika Padukone's due date and maternity leave details announced

Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will have two or three kids in a few weeks. The couple, who got married in 2018 at Lake Como in Italy, announced their pregnancy in February this year and will welcome their first child in September. With just a few days left for them to hold their baby in their arms, a report has surfaced online giving details of the actress' due date and maternity leave.

As reported by News 18 Showsha, Ranveer and Deepika can't wait to start this new chapter of their lives. The source revealed Deepika Padukone's exact date of birth and stated: “If everything goes according to plan, she will deliver the baby on September 28 at a hospital in South Bombay. For now, the expectant mother is enjoying every minute of her break from work.”

Speaking about the actress' maternity leave and when she is likely to return to film, the insider said: “Her maternity leave will last until March next year. And after that, she will immediately start shooting for the sequel to Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas.”

Deepveer Pregnancy

On February 29, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh surprised their fans when they announced their “good news” on social media. The couple posted a picture message with baby items including a bib, shoes, a hat, a button and clothes in shades of pink and blue.

Recently, reports emerged that the expectant parents are likely to move into their new Rs 100 crore house in Bandra's Bandstand area after the arrival of their little one.
