Top adult star Riley Reid explains very honestly why she currently “doesn’t like” shooting content

Riley Reid has revealed why she “doesn’t like” filming pornographic content anymore.

Reid is one of the most recognizable faces in the adult industry and has now won over 45 awards, including Female Performer of the Year and the AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2016.

The 33-year-old speaks very openly and honestly about her feelings about porn, as she has been working in the industry since she was 19.

However, as she has grown older, her opinion about the adult film industry seems to have changed, as she no longer performs with men and somewhat regrets her decision to become an adult film actress.

In an interview in April at the Shadows forbidden In the podcast, Reid, who became a mother in 2022, spoke in more detail about how marrying Pasha Petkuns in 2021 changed her outlook.

The erotic actress said of living with her husband and the birth of her daughter: “It was really fun. For me, it was definitely a different identity process, trying to figure out who this new version of myself is.”

“I remember having my identity crisis when I was in the porn industry, asking myself, 'Who am I?' and 'What is this?'.

“And now I'm trying to reorient myself internally, trying to be both a parent and a businessman, and it's really interesting.”

When asked why she doesn't like doing porn anymore, Riley replied, “Yeah, and I'm trying to adapt to the adult world too. Honestly, I don't like doing content anymore now that I have kind of a C-section scar because it puts a date and time on me.”

She continued, “I don't care, but I only care in the sense that I'm worried that if it bothers her (my daughter) in the future, it will bother me.”

“If it doesn't bother them, it doesn't bother me, but I know there's a time stamp, so I can't lie and say, 'That was all before you.'”

Riley has always been open about her career in interviews and during an appearance on This is Daniel Mac In 2022, the actress also talked about her salary over the years.

“I kept my rate at over five, so anywhere from five to ten thousand, you know, it kind of depended on the month and where I was. I was like, 'Okay, I'll take a little more ass, we could lower my rate,' and I was like, 'Uh, let's raise it because I've been shooting a lot lately,'” she said.

“So when you see your first a***, your first DP and your first g***bang, you can often get a good piece of chains.

“Sometimes girls get about 10,000, sometimes 15 to 20.

“So it depends a bit on what you're doing. For example, if you're doing a feature film, you might be able to get 30,000 for shooting a few scenes or something.”
