Siegen: Five injured in knife attack on city bus

There was a knife attack in Siegen this evening.

Another knife attack, another person is critically injured: According to police, a woman injured five people with a knife on a bus in Siegen-Eiserfeld at around 7:40 p.m. Three people are in critical condition, one victim is seriously injured, one victim is slightly injured. The bus was on its way to the Siegen city festival.

At the time of the crime, there were at least 40 other passengers on the bus. The 32-year-old suspect was arrested and, according to authorities, there is currently no further danger.

The Dortmund police have apparently taken over the investigation and are leading the operation.
