Woman sexually abuses minor and sends video to husband: West Haven Police

WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven woman is accused of sexually abusing a minor and sending a video of the encounter to a Milford man, police said.

Elizabeth Jordan, 42, was arrested on Thursday on a warrant following a lengthy investigation.

According to police, the West Haven Criminal Investigation Department's Special Victims Unit began the investigation in April after receiving information from the Department of Children and Families about allegations of sexual abuse against Jordan.

“It was alleged that Jordan had sexual intercourse with a minor and recorded the sexual act,” police wrote in a press release. “It was also alleged that Jordan then distributed this video to her partner, Josh Bailey, 44, of Milford.”

“Jordan is also accused of sending Bailey images of another minor for his sexual gratification.”

Jordan and Bailey were both arrested after a “comprehensive and thorough investigation” by the West Haven Police Department's Special Victims Unit, police said.

According to police, Jordan turned himself in to the West Haven Police Department on Thursday on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Jordan was charged with second-degree sexual assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree sexual assault, two counts of voyeurism, two counts of distribution of voyeuristic material, one count each of endangering a minor and unauthorized distribution of an intimate image.

According to police, Bailey did not turn himself in but was taken into custody in Milford for another incident.

Bailey was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree sexual assault, two counts of criminal assault of voyeurism, two counts of conspiracy to commit voyeurism, and one count each of criminal endangerment of a minor and conspiracy to endanger a minor.
