TikTok star Eixchel Berroteran nearly murdered by stepfather in horrific attack: ‘Only God knows why I’m still here’

TikTok star Eixchel Berroteran has recounted the horrific experiences she endured as a result of being attacked by her stepfather, who was planning a suicide attempt.

Berroteran, who lives in Florida and has over four million followers on TikTok, said she survived only by the grace of God.

The 23-year-old influencer and her mother were attacked by Luis Damas, her mother's estranged husband.

They were married for 13 years before separating seven months ago.

According to police records, Damas showed up at the women's apartment on August 21 and demanded to know where Berroteran was.

“There are no words to describe the terror, pain, trauma, fear and panic attacks this has caused us,” Berroteran wrote on Instagram under photos of her injuries.

He claimed she was the reason his marriage to her mother didn't work and demanded to see her.

He told the women he had “come here to die” before threatening to kill Berroteran, who was hiding under the bed while her mother wrestled with her stepfather.

Finally, the two managed to persuade him to calm down.

He left the house after telling them to “clean up” the crime scene.

A few days later, the women reported the incident to the police. At first, they said, they were afraid to report him.

She shared photos of her bruised stomach, a cut on her hand and bruises on her leg.

Damas was arrested and appeared briefly in court on Wednesday.
