Couple catches intruder at Canoga Park apartment complex – NBC Los Angeles

A couple in Canoga Park managed to evict an intruder who broke into their apartment on Wednesday evening.

The couple was at home when they heard a noise coming from their bedroom around 10 p.m.

They went into the room and found a man inside. The couple managed to chase him away and were not injured in the incident.

Surveillance footage showed a man in a yellow shirt walking through the gated apartment complex at Victory Boulevard and Vanowen Street, and at one point he was seen jumping over a gate and a wall.

According to a sergeant with the Los Angeles Police Department, it is believed that the man broke into the apartment through the bedroom window.

It was unclear why the man entered the apartment.
