STARKVILLE – An Arkansas man died Tuesday after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle near the entrance to Mississippi State University. Samuel Alan Shirley, 31, of Blytheville, Arkansas, was driving east on Highway 12 around 5 p.m. when his motorcycle collided with a turning vehicle at the intersection of Russell Street and Stone Boulevard, according to Starkville police.
