Man must be charged with grievous bodily harm

A Columbia man is facing felony charges following an investigation by the Texas County Sheriff's Department into an incident in late May.

Sean M. Ryno, born in 1984 of Columbia, is charged with third-degree domestic violence (a class E felony).

According to a probable cause affidavit, on May 26, a deputy was dispatched to an undeclared location for a domestic dispute. The officer made contact with a man who said he and Ryno had been arguing because people were on his property and Ryno had pushed him and hit him in the head multiple times.

The officer also spoke to a witness who reportedly said she saw Ryno push the victim several times.

Ryno reportedly declined to speak to the officer.

The bail is set at $2,000 in cash.
