Dozens rescued from boat taking on water on Schuylkill River

PHILADELPHIA – A dozen partygoers were rescued from a boat that took on water on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.

At around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, rescue crews received a call from one of the boaters who said his boat was taking on water at Platt Bridge, NBC10 reported.

As a result, 12 people were rescued by Coast Guard and marine units, Fox 29 reports.

According to Action News, no one was injured and the 12 people were in good spirits.
