Police on scene after serious accident in Idaho Falls; drivers are asked to avoid the area

IDAHO FALLS – Idaho Falls Police are on the scene of a crash on Fremont Avenue at the Highway 20 overpass.

One car was involved and the road is closed. Drivers are asked to use alternative routes.

It is not known whether anyone was injured in the accident.

According to Idaho Falls Police, Fremont Avenue is expected to open after 8:00 a.m.
