Over 20 shots fired at man in parked car in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA – A man was hospitalized Wednesday night after a shooting occurred in his car on a West Philadelphia street.

Police said they found the 32-year-old in a parked Nissan in the 100 block of Peach Street shortly after 11:30 p.m.

He suffered numerous gunshot wounds to the neck, chest, torso and arms and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

According to police, at least 23 shots were fired at the man.

No arrests have been made and police have not yet released a motive for the shooting.

An investigation is ongoing.
