T-Boz slams critics spreading rumors about health scares and reveals reason for TLC show cancellation

T-Boz opens up about the health scares that forced her to cancel several TLC shows and slams those who make fun of her serious health issues.

In a candid Instagram video posted on Thursday (August 28), T-Boz explained that her health is improving. She also referenced the group's statement announcing the cancellations, wishing she never had to make her health condition public, and criticized people who made fun of her.

T-Boz explained that she was hospitalized due to complications from a 24-year-old injury.

“People have died from what I went through,” she explained. “It had nothing to do with sickle cell anemia,” adding that the disease does not define her.

She also addressed some rumors, claiming, “It had nothing to do with constipation.” T-Boz insisted, “No, I don't take Ozempic. Not everyone and no celebrity takes Ozempic. This ignorance disheartens me. I would just pray for people or, if I had nothing to say, I would just shut the fuck up and not say anything, but y'all don't know how to fucking do that. It amazes me how negative the world is.”

The TLC star added in the caption, assuring his fans, “See you soon at the rescheduled shows.”

T-Boz also shared a clip from an appearance on The Portia Show in which she expressed her desire to help others now that her health issue is public knowledge.

“This can happen to anyone who has ever had abdominal surgery,” she said. “I had surgery almost 24 years ago and scar tissue rubbed against my intestines and caused a blockage. They put it there. I would never have chosen that.”
